Strategic Growth Manager

Role Description Call on existing clients within both the small and intermediate agency market segments to cultivate, retain and expand loan volume. Educate agency clients on systems and procedures. Gather data on competitors and monitor activity within the assigned territory. Assist internal departments, as needed. Promote Premium Finance (PF) at industry events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Develop and maintain profitable business by making sales calls on insurance agents/brokers, insurance companies and general agencies that meet PF standards. - Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients in order to maintain or expand loan volume by identifying problems and providing solutions. - Manage assigned territory independently. - Monitor local insurance trends and make strategic recommendations to management, as needed. - Monitor local, competitive environments and make strategic recommendations to management, as needed. - Analyze monthly reports to identify opportunities to increase sales and minimize lost volume. - Ensure revenue goals are met by analyzing profitability for each relationship and recommending changes, as needed. - Communicate with marketing staff and operational staff to maximize opportunities. - Utilize Salesforce.com to record sales activity, meaningful information about sales calls and create follow-up activities. - Develop pricing proposals, as needed, and submit to management for approval. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent education and related training. - Up to Five years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in financial services or insurance. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Self-motivated, independent worker. - Ability to interpret financial data. - Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products. - Ability to travel, occasionally overnight. Requirements - Ability to interpret financial data. This role plays a critical part in balancing speed, sound credit judgment, and risk management while supporting a high-volume, growth-stage lending platform. You will assess borrower and entity credit strength, collateral quality, construction feasibility, and market risk to structure well-performing loans that close efficiently and align with company and investor guidelines. This role directly impacts deal velocity, loan quality, and overall portfolio performance, partnering closely with sales, processing, and construction/draw teams. Key Responsibilities - Independently underwrite Residential Transition Loans (Fix & Flip / Bridge / Rehab) in accordance with internal guidelines and delegated credit authority. - Deliver sound, well-documented credit decisions that balance risk management with business growth objectives. - Analyze borrower and entity creditworthiness, liquidity, experience, and exit strategies. - Review and validate ARV appraisals, broker price opinions, market comparables, and valuation methodologies. - Evaluate construction and renovation budgets, scopes of work, contractor credentials, and feasibility. - Validate LTV, LTC, ARV, and cost-to-complete calculations for accuracy and guideline compliance. - Identify layered credit, collateral, construction, and market risks; clearly document risk mitigants and approval rationale. - Review and decision title insurance, property taxes, hazard insurance, entity documentation, and other collateral requirements. - Underwrite loan scenarios across SFR, Condo, 2–4 Unit, and Multifamily (5+ unit) properties. - Communicate proactively and professionally with processors, originators, brokers, and internal partners to clear conditions and move loans to closing efficiently. - Manage a high-volume pipeline while maintaining accuracy and meeting turnaround expectations. - Ensure underwriting decisions comply with internal guidelines, investor requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. - Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready loan documentation. - Contribute to guideline refinement, process improvements, and operational efficiencies to enhance borrower experience and reduce cycle times.
