Job Requirements
- at least 10 years of professional software engineering experience
- relevant experience and education in Computer Science or a related field
- deep, proven professional experience in Go (C++ is a welcome bonus)
- solid experience building high-performance, reliable systems
- proven track record of designing and improving complex distributed systems
- familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, serverless computing, and Linux APIs
- ability to work well with others: collaborative, open-minded, knowledge sharing, mentoring
- comfortable working in an Agile development environment

• Provide on site supervision and mentorship for field service technicians and support staff, ensuring efficient execution of day-to-day activities. • Act as the primary point of on site/in field contact for technicians, providing guidance on technical and operational challenges on the job site to quickly and effectively to minimize disruptions. • Serve as the first escalation point for field service-related issues, working with customers to resolve concerns in a timely manner. • Act as direct EHS representative for the field, ensuring OSHA and all other regulatory requirements are being met daily. • Work with management staff to ensure field teams are tracking toward positive operational metrics. • Build positive relationships with customers by ensuring high-quality service delivery. • Regularly inspect fieldwork to confirm adherence to safety and quality guidelines. • Provide regular updates to Services leadership on service progress, team performance, and operational challenges. • Ensure all project related administrative tasks are completed on time per schedule. • Provide primary administrative and work management support to field staff on week off rotation. • Support ‘cold’ commissioning (electrical checks using auxiliary power) and ‘hot’ commissioning of battery systems (energized electrical checks) and correct battery related performance issues including performing cell and module charging/balancing. • Provide technical support for fault isolation and troubleshooting during all phases of commissioning. • Communicate directly with the customer on all aspects of project execution including accurate and timely daily reporting. • Coordinate return and repair of defective parts in support of warranty claims. • Manage field tools for field assignments / projects.
