The Data Analyst 2, War Room Analytics Triage plays a critical front-line role in supporting enterprise War Room operations by rapidly assessing incoming cases, estimating potential call obviation impact, and developing data-driven insights to inform prioritization and resolution efforts. This role serves as the intake and analytical backbone of the War Room, ensuring that high-risk, high-impact issues are quickly identified, quantified, and supported with actionable analysis. The analyst partners closely with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data insights that accelerate issue resolution and reduce member friction. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary Responsibilities: - Case Intake & Triage - Assess incoming cases for context, severity, and member impact - Apply triage frameworks to categorize and prioritize issues - Define initial analysis scope and required data sources - Call Obviation Impact Estimation - Estimate potential call volume impact using available data signals - Develop early call obviation estimates to guide prioritization - Refine impact estimates as new data emerges - Rapid Analytics & Data Support - Pull, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources for active cases - Deliver quick-turn insights on root causes, trends, and issue drivers - Build datasets and analyses for deeper investigations - Insight Development & Communication - Summarize findings in clear updates for stakeholders - Translate data into actions that accelerate resolution - Document assumptions, methods, and impact estimates - Process Execution & Continuous Improvement - Follow standard analytics workflows for intake, triage, and analysis - Refine triage frameworks, impact models, and intake processes - Identify ways to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - 1+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or data-related roles - Experience analyzing data to identify trends, drivers, and business insights - Solid foundational SQL skills and ability to work with structured datasets - Proven ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment - Proven solid problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Proven effective written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau - Experience working with structured frameworks for prioritization or triage - Exposure to digital analytics (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) or call center data - Familiarity with customer experience, operations analytics, or contact center environments *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Role Description The Rates & Forms Specialist supports the development, implementation, and regulatory compliance of title insurance rates, rules, and policy forms across multiple jurisdictions. This role ensures alignment between regulatory filings, underwriting guidance, and operational systems by maintaining accurate rates, forms, and documentation. This position is well-suited for a self-reliant and analytical professional seeking to build expertise in insurance compliance, product development, and regulatory filings within a highly regulated environment.
