Sales and Marketing Partner
Covetrus
• Look to maximise revenue opportunities for marketing from manufacturers and third-party vendors, using the portal, social media and events. • Build our social media profile across Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin. • Coordinate the delivery of CPD events and webinars in partnership with manufacturers and third-party vendors. • Help with the delivery of the concept of ‘Practice in a Box.’ • Help with the delivery of the concept of ‘Start Up Stephanie.’ • Help with the delivery of the concept of the ‘Practice Health Check.’ • Manage the content on the PBG website. • Work closely with other Covetrus teams to increase the sales of proprietary brands (VI, CVET, Kruuse, Calibra) within the PBG member base. • Look to maximise the benefits of subscriptions PBG have undertaken, such as Lead Forensics. • Help with the delivery of the process by which we as a buying group manage our vendors, maximise commissions, and track the performance of each Business Development Manager in managing their vendors. • Help to refine and deliver a process by which vendor referrals from new and existing member practices can be logged into Salesforce, reported to the vendors, tracked, and associated commissions invoiced and collected. • Work with our portfolio of vendors, spread across the many categories PBG has services in, to gain a greater understanding of what support and management our vendors need, and to develop new revenue streams. • Alongside the Business Development Managers, the Sales and Marketing Strategy Partner will ensure the PBG Vendor records on Salesforce are complete and up to date. • Work closely with the Business Development Managers in the process of onboarding new member practices, to ensure a smooth start to PBG membership. • Alongside the Head of PBG, maximise the functionality of the PBG Portal, and work on building a suite of reports for both the buying group and for its member practices. • Accompany Business Development Managers in dual calling when research and feedback is needed to develop a new commercial or marketing strategy. • Support the team in the delivery of marketing campaigns for vendors and manufacturers. • Alongside the Business Development Managers, on occasion the Sales and Marketing Partner will represent the buying group at industry exhibitions and conferences.
Job Requirements
- Prior experience in a marketing or account management role, preferably in the veterinary or animal health industry.
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint), and ideally WordPress.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of marketing strategy and account management is a necessity.
