Role Description The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) seeks a dynamic, innovative faculty member for a full-time Core Faculty position in the nursing programs. • Unlock great clinical outcomes for our members by adhering to Groups Recovery System and providing consistent, high quality counseling activities. • Conduct intake assessments to evaluate individuals’ appropriateness for our program. • Complete clinical assessments as assigned each day • Provide individual support, as needed, such as crisis intervention, referrals to other resources, liaising with outside parties involved in the member’s treatment and coordinating with the Care Navigators. • Utilize our custom EMR to document members’ progress in a manner that is efficient and value-added, fully digitized, and never bureaucratic and ensure all clinicians in office follow suit. • Partner with providers to evaluate appropriateness of treatment for every member who enters our program. • In charge of all compliance activities associated with member admission requirements and corresponding documentation • Participate in internal and external training required for upkeep of licensure. • Responsible for documenting care coordination needs handled by Care Navigator. • Participate as representative of the treatment team that discusses difficult members • Performs other duties as assigned

Role Description The Provider Contracting Professional 2 initiates, negotiates, and executes physician, hospital, and/or other provider contracts and agreements. The work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. - Communicates contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to Specialty providers within the Florida region. - Analyzes financial impact of contracts and terms. - Maintains contracts and documentation within a tracking system. - May assist with identifying and recruiting providers based on network composition and needs. - Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. - Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. - Follows established guidelines/procedures. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience servicing or negotiating managed care contracts with physician, hospital and/or other provider contracts. - Proficiency in analyzing, understanding and communicating contract terms, payment structures and reimbursement rates to providers. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in MS Office applications. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree (Preferred). - Experience working with medical claims (Preferred). - Experience with ACO/Risk Contracting (Preferred). - Experience with Value Based Contracting (Preferred). - Located in the State of Florida (Preferred). Additional Information - This position is considered "remote/work at home", however, preference will be given to candidates that are located in the State of Florida. - To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria: - At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. - Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. - Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. - Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. - Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. - Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. - Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. - Pay Range: $65,000 - $88,600 per year. - This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based upon company and/or individual performance.
