Senior Manager, Market Access Operations
Novartis
• Provide operational knowledge of, and project delivery support to, US Market Access initiatives • Collaborate with leadership to design, optimize, and monitor field inquiry programs and other operational processes to assess account dynamics and drive continuous effectiveness and growth • Develop operational excellence and align implement field inquiries best practices • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure consistent resolution to field market access inquiries; monitor and report performance of key initiatives • Identify opportunities to innovate and optimize operational processes to field and resolve market access inquiries • Utilize vendor platforms and demonstrate understanding of functionality, limitations and accuracy of information available through key vendors • Support development of field inquiry and resolution dashboards and contribute towards the development of novel field inquiry and resolution processes, platforms, and KPIs • Work closely and engage with field operations teams to ensure field inquiry and resolution activities are aligned and implemented in an expeditious manner • Contribute to the design and implementation of essential cross-functional field and functional team training on the inquiry system
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA, MS Life Sciences) is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing/Sales, Market Access, Operations, Managed Care Finance, or associated degree
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical MLR processes and Veeva functionality preferred
- Experience working with development teams and/or optimizing user experience (UX)
- Knowledge and experience of AI in Operations preferred
- Track record of strong execution and results
- Ability to synthesize simplified, direct and effective communications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and analytical skills combined with a proven ability to successfully collaborate across a matrix organization
- Ability to drive multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
- Engage within a matrixed organization, especially across market access and travel as required by the business
