Job Description

Office Procurement Assistant

SGS

• At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct. • Identify supplies / services to order, adequate products of suppliers / service providers, and segregate orders by the vendor to optimize shipping and requisition costs. • Place order in Procurement system and initiate approval process. • Supports the Customer Service Team in purchase order (PO) creations and distribution to vendors; ensure proper documentation has been received. • Monitor the status of orders raised, inform the manager about delays, or other problems. • Enter shipment information to initial payment, upon reception confirmed by the site. • Complete other duties or tasks assigned by the Manager, General manager, or other leadership. • Ensure the work area in GBS is always clean and presentable.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-2 years data entry and/or accounting / billing / purchasing experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+).

In this role, you will manage equipment and furnishings purchasing across a portfolio of 11+ client sites nationwide, serving as the key liaison between internal operations teams and external vendors.
