Lead Procurement – Operations Manager

• Own key procurement for manufacturing and R&D end-to-end • Track and control delivery timelines, quantities, and quality • Resolve delays and supply issues • Manage international logistics: shipping, brokers, customs • Lead negotiations and build long-term supplier relationships • Identify alternatives and eliminate single-supplier dependencies • Manage supply risks and prevent disruptions proactively • Design clear procurement processes • Reduce manual work and dependency on specific individuals • Work closely with Manufacturing, R&D, and Finance • Build annual procurement plans together with cross-functional teams • Monitor stock levels and forecast needs • Source contractors based on non-standard R&D requests • Manage the procurement and warehouse team: task-setting, execution control, process development • Build seamless collaboration between procurement, warehouse, and production

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in procurement / operations / logistics
  • Real hands-on experience: not just managed others
  • International logistics and customs experience
  • Supplier negotiations and crisis resolution
  • Understanding of procurement in manufacturing or hardware
  • Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP or similar)
  • Working languages: Ukrainian + English at a confident business level (negotiations, supplier correspondence, documentation)

Role Description The Senior Vendor Management Professional will work as a liaison between vendors and Humana supporting internal business areas while helping ensure vendors meet contractual obligations as part of the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan program.
