Product Manager, Hydraulic Wheel Excavators

Liebherr Group

• Lead and support Liebherr’s distribution network to achieve established sales targets. • Provide technical support to the distribution network, accompany sales representatives on customer visits to close projects, and represent the manufacturer at trade shows. • Define optimal commercial terms for all parties and make financial trade-offs to facilitate achievement of the sales objectives agreed with the network. • Maintain competitive intelligence by monitoring the actions of the sector’s main players. • Understand market specifics, anticipate customer needs, and contribute to the development of existing and new products. • Coordinate and prepare commercial offers.

Job Requirements

  • Sales experience (junior or experienced), ideally in selling equipment, machinery or industrial assets to professional customers.
  • Strong interest in technical products and the machinery sector.
  • Good knowledge of sales techniques and the ability to develop clear, concise sales arguments.
  • Ability to support customers in analyzing financing solutions and to explain impacts on accounting and corporate finance (income statement, depreciation, etc.).
  • Proficiency with IT tools (CRM, ERP, Microsoft Office suite) to manage your activity and ensure commercial follow-up.
  • English required to operate in an international environment (German would be an advantage but is not mandatory).
  • Excellent listening skills, strong interpersonal skills and professional presentation to represent Liebherr products.
  • Autonomy, rigor, responsiveness and a strong sense of negotiation.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area and to attend trade shows (2 to 4 days per week within France, with occasional travel to Colmar and Germany).
  • Team spirit, initiative and innovation, with a strong performance and quality orientation.
