Hostaway
• Develop and build scalable, high-quality frontend components and features for Hostaway’s Trust Accounting white-label product. • Implement intuitive, performant, and reliable user workflows for financial operations, including trust accounting, payment visibility, fund movement tracking, reconciliation, and reporting. • Build and evolve a flexible, white-label React application that can support multiple customer configurations and branded experiences. • Contribute to the frontend architecture of a secure, scalable, auditable, and compliant financial subsystem. • Develop and maintain reusable component libraries and contribute to the evolution of the design system. • Ensure frontend performance optimization, responsive layouts, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. • Document frontend architecture, components, patterns, and key technical decisions for knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability. • Proactively identify and drive improvements in frontend systems, delivery reliability, observability, and user experience.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in SaaS software development, with strong frontend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Proven experience building scalable, maintainable frontend applications in product-focused engineering environments.
- Experience working with accounting, ledger, payment, or financial operations products is a strong plus.
- Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Redux-saga, Context APIs, or similar patterns.
- Experience building white-label or highly configurable frontend applications is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accessibility, frontend performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Experience working in agile environments with distributed, cross-functional teams and rapidly shifting priorities.
- Nice to Have: Experience with trust accounting, escrow, client money handling, property management accounting, or owner statement workflows.
- Nice to Have: Experience with embedded payments, payment processors, payment operations, or fintech products.
- Nice to Have: Experience building dashboards or reporting interfaces for finance, accounting, or operations teams.
