Senior Director, Business Development – CLM
DLS Discovery, LLC
• Own sales targets for CLM implementation, migration, abstraction, managed services, and AI-enabled contract services. • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, partner channels, events, and market networking. • Build strong relationships with legal, procurement, contract operations, and legal operations leaders. • Represent CLM services at industry events, conferences, and partner roadshows. • Lead deal cycle. From qualification to proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and close. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with CLM platform partners and consulting companies, influencing lead flow. • Work cross-functionally with marketing, delivery, and partnerships to strengthen GTM strategy. • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline updates, and sales reports for leadership. • Coach and mentor junior sales/BD team members.
Job Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, in legal tech, CLM, SaaS services, managed legal services, or legal process outsourcing.
- Deep understanding of CLM platforms (Ironclad, Agiloft, Sirion, Icertis, etc.) and contract management workflows.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed $3–10M+ annual sales targets.
- Strong relationships with legal and procurement stakeholders (GCs, Legal Ops, CPOs).
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and commercial structuring skills.
- Possession of a valid U.S. visa (or eligibility to travel to the United States without sponsorship) is strongly preferred, given the global travel requirements of the role.
