Role Description This is your chance to be part of a Global Sales Team that ensures Hilton owners and operators receive the combined benefits of scale, access, competence, and experience. As a Director Sales Luxury CALA, you will support the team responsible for providing a differentiated selling platform for Hilton's diverse portfolio of brands by being relentlessly motivated to grow market share. On the HWS CALA Groups team reporting to AMDOS, you will focus on overall strategy to develop new accounts and business opportunities from CALA Region for our growing portfolio of Hilton Luxury Brand properties. In addition, you will collaborate closely with Group Domestic Team to strengthen and optimize the existing account portfolio in Mexico. What you'll do during a typical day: - Identify new luxury group customers from CALA Region and generate business opportunities from un-managed Hilton accounts including all market segments, end users and potential third-party partners. - Qualify potential customers through 3rd party resources, solicitation efforts, social media, industry events and email. - Manage leads through the sales pipeline from unmanaged accounts in collaboration with luxury property sales teams to maximize conversion. - Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and achieve organizational goals. - Develop new hotel customer engagement events targeting unmanaged accounts with qualified luxury group revenue opportunity. - Partner with the current team to manage domestic leads demand while proactively identifying and driving new business opportunities for Hilton luxury properties worldwide. - Organize high touch personalized FAM trips focused on new business accounts. How you'll collaborate with others: - Clients - Engage to connect with decision makers and qualify potential for Hilton Luxury Brand business opportunities. - Colleagues - Collaborate with Hilton Worldwide Sales and partners to provide total client solutions demonstrating a "One-Team" commercial culture while living the Heart of Hilton. Deliverables you'll take ownership of: - Establish relationships with your Hilton Worldwide Sales peers, your customers, and your hotel partners to qualify opportunities, host discovery calls to qualify unmanaged accounts and implement solutions. - Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews and joint sales calls with colleagues or managers. Qualifications - Five (5) years of work experience in hotel sales. - Three (3) years of professional experience in Luxury Group Sales, either on-property or above-property sales. - In-depth knowledge of the Hospitality Travel industry. - Experience collaborating with teams on accounts. - Proficiency in Word and Excel (can understand and maintain spreadsheets). - Travel up to 35-40% (including working outside of traditional working hours). Requirements - Seven (7) years of experience in hotel sales (preferred). - Two (2) years of new business account development experience (preferred). - Passionate about mining for business (preferred). - BA/BS bachelor's degree (preferred).
