Role Description We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Contractor) to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role is fully remote, offering an opportunity to contribute to exciting projects with the potential to transition into a long-term contractor position. As part of our highly experienced engineering team, you’ll work closely with Dave Brennan and be part of his team, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with him directly, learn from his experience, influence design decisions, and drive innovation while keeping the customer’s needs at the forefront. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Contractor), you will develop advanced solutions using cutting-edge technologies, including: - Cloud-based services - Containerization - AI-driven features - Adaptive process automation This role is a great opportunity for engineers who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoy working on both frontend and backend solutions. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on design and coding at a component level. - Professional level of English language proficiency. - A strong customer-first mindset, with the ability to translate requirements into modern, flexible software solutions. - Proficiency in FrontEnd and BackEnd technologies. - Experience developing and integrating REST APIs using JSON and/or XML. - Familiarity with cloud services (Azure or similar) for deployment and debugging. - Expertise in asynchronous programming and scalable software development. - Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the ability to work effectively in agile teams. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related experience. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and take ownership of projects. Requirements - TDD (Test Driven Development) and refactoring skills. - Experience in structuring the code for testability to separate unit-testable logic and integration-testable boundary code. - Nice to have: Pairing/mobbing experience and/or XP (eXtreme Programming) experience.
