Staff IT Asset Architect

Cloudera

• Lead the design and evolution of our asset and configuration management architecture within ServiceNow • Define and own the enterprise asset tagging and metadata standards • Design and oversee integrations between ServiceNow and external systems • Ensure end-to-end lifecycle visibility across all asset classes • Act as the primary bridge between Infrastructure, InfoSec, Finance, and Cloud Operations • Drive the organisation towards autonomous asset management • Lead service mapping initiatives for critical applications • Develop KPIs and observability frameworks that communicate asset programme health

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years in IT Infrastructure or IT Asset Management
  • 3+ years in a lead or architect capacity
  • Bsc/Msc in related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to design and enforce enterprise-wide asset governance frameworks
  • Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping capabilities
  • Solid understanding of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience designing integrations between asset management platforms and external data sources
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to translate complex infrastructure data into business risk and financial language for senior stakeholders
