Job Description
Live Events Campaign Ops I
Amazon
Role Description If you love sports, solving big-customer problems, and have a passion for new technology in the media space, then Live Events Campaign Ops I is an amazing opportunity for a role that lies at the intersection of your interests. With broadcast agreements around the world including the NFL's Thursday Night Football (TNF) in the US, the English Premier League (EPL) in the UK, the UEFA Champions League (UCL) across the UK, Germany, and Italy, the French Open (Roland-Garros) in France, the NBA globally across 10 countries, NASCAR Cup Races, WNBA, NWSL, Serie A, MLB (Yankees), NHL, Copa do Brasil, Brasileirão Series A, Top Rank Boxing Japan, and Ligue 1 in France — Amazon Prime Video is delivering the future of Live Sports for our Prime customers. We are building a world-class live sports ad program that benefits our customers, advertisers, and league partners with unique, never-been-done-before ad experiences — including Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI), Programmatic Preferred Deals, Interactive Video Ads (IVA), and Hybrid ad serving. - Weekend Coverage Requirement: This role requires coverage of at least one (1) weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) per week to support live event broadcasts that occur on weekends. - Live sports events — including MLB, NBA, EPL, NASCAR, and other properties — frequently air on weekends, requiring real-time operational support for schedule changes, late creative swaps, and broadcast-day QA. - NOTE: This is an 11-month seasonal role. Key job responsibilities - Execute assignment work across multiple live sports properties and locales, managing competing priorities during overlapping seasons. - Maintain the highest standards around campaign fulfillment by trafficking advertiser creatives accurately and within SLA, coordinating with CCMs on creative instructions, flight dates, and targeting requirements. - Manage platform success ensuring campaigns and schedules are within SLA and accurate completion for Play-Out-Partners. - Communicate the status of campaign to key global partners and also adjust creatives or IKVs as needed. - Proactively troubleshoot and escalate blocked assignments and technical issues through appropriate channels (SIM tickets) with clear documentation. - Take on ad-hoc projects to improve processes and maintain ad serving capabilities. - Partnering with key stakeholders to define, identify and influence the development of new initiatives. - Creating best practices by putting forth improvement ideas. - Support high-visibility tentpole events including Black Friday Gameday, NFL Playoffs, NBA Playoffs, and seasonal property launches. A day in the life - The Live Events Campaign Ops I associate begins each shift by triaging the Salesforce assignment queue — claiming "Ready for Work" assignments prioritized by live event broadcast dates, updating statuses, and validating campaign details against the self-QA checklist before executing any trafficking actions. - The core of the day centers on creative trafficking: uploading video assets into Rodeo, mapping creatives to the correct pod positions and slot durations within AMS ad schedules, and resolving discrepancies with Campaign Managers. - Between trafficking cycles, the associate shifts to reporting — pulling assignment throughput data from the 360 Hub, updating weekly volume trackers, documenting blocked assignments with root causes, and escalating unresolved issues via SIM tickets. - The afternoon focuses on Schedule Event creation: set up of the weekly event schedule following league requirements and advertiser requests before sending documentation to partners. - Additionally, QA audits: reviewing completed assignments against the standardized checklist to verify creative-to-schedule alignment, Salesforce field accuracy, and compliance with ad policies, then documenting any defects by category. - On the required weekend day, the tempo shifts to real-time broadcast support — executing last-minute creative swaps, processing schedule changes from Production, and performing final QA passes on updated ad schedules before broadcast lock. About the team - Flexibility, adaptability, and being comfortable with ambiguity are required mindsets as workflows will include a combination of industry best practices and proprietary tools and policies. - The LEAS organization operates in a startup-like environment where speed and accuracy are paramount, managing simultaneous campaign volumes across a growing global property portfolio. - In 2026, the team is shifting from reactive to proactive execution — standardizing through simplification, accelerating through GenAI, and scaling through cost-effective operating models. Qualifications - Speak, write, and read fluently in English - Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications - Bachelor's degree Requirements - Experience in Amazon advertising products - Experience with Live Events broadcast - Experience with AI Gen tools and Amazon QS Company Description Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
