Role Description Our Guidewire team focuses on delivering Guidewire implementation services to General Insurance clients. We deliver end to end Guidewire suite implementations, blending technical skills and strategy to advise top ASX organisations, not-for-profit companies and private clients with spectacular results. As a Sr Dev or Dev Lead, you’ll work with and provide guidance and leadership to a team of developers that will help clients harness technology to achieve key business objectives. You will also work across both core Guidewire and digital platforms including GW PolicyCenter and Jutro Platform. - Identifying, defining and leading continuous improvement activities to increase the quality and velocity of solution and ways of working - Proven technical and people leadership skills and ability leading development teams including work allocation, technical designs, code reviews, code merge activities. - Ability to work with and influence wider technology teams, including other developer leads, project managers, Business Analyst Leads, etc. - Working with client business SMEs to understand the requirements and translate them into viable solutions - Maintaining and fixing issues across environments (dev, QA, UAT and Prod) and involvement in unit testing and documentation Qualifications - Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, preferably from Insurance domain background - Good understanding and experience in software architecture, design patterns and software development best practices - Experience with React based development of MFEs/Standalone apps - Experience on Guidewire Cloud, Jutro Digital Platform, React js - Experience in Guidewire and related toolsets e.g. Cloud APIs, Digital SDK, APD, Guidewire Testing Framework, Guidewire Cloud Console, Git/Bucket, etc. - Experience with integration to other platforms such as Document Management, Finance, Digital, etc. Requirements - Encourage everyone to have a voice and invite opinion from all, including quieter members of the team. - Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations. - Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels. - Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail. - Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required. - Contribute technical knowledge in area of specialism. - Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart. - Navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements. - Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust. - Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
