General Summary: As the Inside Sales/Business Development representative, you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives in North America.  The successful candidate must be very comfortable communicating with prospects/leads, generating interest in the Xirgo products and services, qualifying prospects, and generating marketing qualified leads (MQLs) for the sales teams. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: · Collaborate with Marketing to develop initiatives and campaigns that generate marketing qualified leads (MQL’s) and/or sales qualified leads (SQL’s) with North America. · Develop new sales opportunities by engaging leads from events, digital channels, cold outreach, partner networks, and marketing programs. · Develop and implement campaigns in CRM (NetSuite) that build brand/product awareness and deliver increased MQL/SQL generation. · Provide marketing, sales and company leadership with weekly/monthly metrics (KPI’s) that clearly show the progress of the various lead generation programs. · Work closely with sales to identify ‘land and expand’ opportunities with existing customers and partners. · Work closely with marketing to develop new initiatives that build brand/product awareness. Skills and Abilities: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask. · Ability to work independently (self-starter) and with teams. · Great listener, competitive spirit with a ‘can do’ mentality. · A creative mindset and innovative approach are a big plus. · Experienced with BANT methodology (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline). Education and Experience 5+ years in Inside Sales - ideally in SaaS, IoT, or B2B enterprise environments Ability to understand and identify customer needs, overcome objections, and develop rapport. Track record of sales enablement selling technology to large corporations and through channels (Resellers, TSPs, Distributors) Experience in IoT, Class 1 – 8, OEMs, and/Telecommunications/Carriers is preferred Experience with IoT products including cameras/video, vehicle and asset tracking, sensors, and AI preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Proficient in Sales CRM (e.g. NetSuite CRM, Salesforce) Proficiency with Linked-In and ZoomInfo or similar systems is required. Working Conditions: Normal, no adverse or hazardous conditions Ability to travel, when necessary (expected <20%) Must have the unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. Requirements: · Must be legally authorized to work in the US. · Will work out of your home office and/or the Xirgo office in Rolling Meadows IL. Compensation and Benefits: Xirgo offers an excellent wage and benefits package for full-time employees.
