Job Description

Finance Intern, Unpaid for Course Credit Only

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation • Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation • Assist in preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations • Conduct data entry and ensure accuracy of financial data in accounting software • Help with bank statement reconciliations • Support the team with ad hoc projects and analysis as needed

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (sophomore standing or above preferred)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles (debits, credits, financial statements)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite or similar software a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
