Role Description The Marketing Operations Manager is a project and process focused leadership role responsible for ensuring marketing strategy is planned, executed, tracked, and completed on time. This role bridges Strategic Marketing & Corporate direction, Performance Marketing insights, and commercial execution, enabling efficient go to market delivery across North America. The position is grounded in marketing project management, bringing discipline, structure, and transparency—while ensuring that insights from analytics, CRM data, and customer behavior translate into meaningful execution improvements across the marketing, sales, and loyalty journey. Key Responsibilities - Project Management & Delivery Ownership - Own end to end marketing project management across initiatives including: product launches, trade shows and events, creation, maintenance and deployment of collateral as catalogs, brochures, technical papers and thought leadership initiatives, website updates and enhancements, social media calendars and publishing, graphic design team and deliverables (brochures, sell sheets, media ads, digital assets). - Apply structured project management methodologies of the full marketing team to ensure clear scopes and timelines, defined owners and dependencies, and on time, high quality delivery. - Build visibility and accountability through disciplined planning, delivery and reporting. - Tools, Platforms & Ways of Working - Implement standardized work intake, prioritization, and approval workflows. - Create templates, calendars, launch plans, and execution playbooks. - Lead project planning and execution using MarTech across the teams. - Marketing Technology & CRM Enablement - Support implementation, deployment, and operational adoption of marketing technologies. - Ensure marketing systems are connected to CRM platforms to enable a seamless customer journey. - Partner with Performance Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure technology supports execution, segmentation, attribution, and lifecycle alignment. - Brand, Content & Campaign Execution - Oversee brand governance and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing outputs. - Own quality control of copy, design, and content accuracy—particularly in technical and industrial contexts. - Lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns supporting North America sales teams. - Ensure campaign execution supports higher quality MQLs that convert into long term customers. - Trade Show, Event & Commercial Enablement - Oversee end to end trade show and event execution. - Support distributors and customers with co-marketing initiatives and branded assets. - Work closely with commercial teams to align marketing execution to revenue priorities. - Ensure event and field marketing efforts are measurable and commercially relevant. - Cross Functional & External Collaboration - Operate effectively with internal industrial leaders and subject matter experts, North America commercial and sales teams, product and application specialists, external agencies and technology partners, distributors and channel partners. - Demonstrate strong multicultural collaboration skills across regions and functions. - Act as a proactive owner who removes friction and keeps initiatives moving forward. - Hands On Builder Role - This role is building the Marketing Operations function from bottoms up. - Requires comfort operating without full structure in place while actively creating it. Qualifications - Strong background in marketing project management. - Deep understanding of B2B marketing, particularly within industrial or technical environments. - Ability to connect marketing, sales, and loyalty funnel stages into one coherent journey. - Experience working across marketing operations, campaigns, technology, and content. - Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into execution improvements. - Strong communication skills across technical, commercial, and creative stakeholders. - Proactive, detail oriented leader with strong ownership mentality. - Hands on experience or working knowledge of: - Enterprise CRM systems (SAP C4C preferred, Salesforce or similar acceptable). - Marketing automation and campaign platforms. - Website CMS platforms (Contentstack preferred, WordPress, Craft, or similar acceptable). - Project management platforms from Microsoft (e.g., Planner/Loop) also experience with other software (Monday.com, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet) is acceptable and transferable.
