Job Description
Senior Brand Experience Manager – WOLFSBLUT
AlphaPet Ventures GmbH
• Join the WOLFSBLUT team. WOLFSBLUT is Germany's leading premium dry dog food brand — on a mission to make species-appropriate, high-quality nutrition the standard. • In this senior role you are responsible for the brand's strategic development — you take a holistic view of growth, brand and experience and translate business objectives into clear, effective brand levers. • You provide direction, set the strategic framework, and ensure WOLFSBLUT is experienced consistently across all touchpoints. • You support the Brand Director on the growth agenda and develop a clear, data-driven channel strategy across D2C, B2B/retail and other touchpoints. • You translate revenue and profitability targets into concrete strategic growth levers, identify funnel opportunities, and manage new customer acquisition and loyalty initiatives together with other departments. • You develop personas, consumer journeys and experience principles — ensuring the brand appears emotional, consistent and differentiated across all touchpoints. • You set the strategic framework for campaigns and brand experiences. • You are responsible for the overall campaign strategy. You define the strategic direction and coordinate implementation with Brand Managers — for media campaigns you take direct responsibility from concept through execution. • You plan and own media activities across all relevant channels — print, OOH, digital. You develop the media strategy, coordinate agencies and external partners, and ensure media spend aligns consistently with campaign strategy. • You are accountable for a broad set of KPIs — from brand health and brand perception to D2C performance metrics (e.g., CAC and CLV) and sell-out performance. You track metrics via Looker, actively incorporate consumer and market insights from the Insights team into strategy development, and evaluate performance together with Brand Managers and the online team. • You identify gaps early and derive concrete, prioritized actions.
Job Requirements
- 6–9 years of professional experience in brand management, brand strategy or a comparable senior role — on the company or agency side, ideally in consumer brands, FMCG or a digital environment.
- Experience developing cross-channel brand and campaign strategies — you know how to set the framework and enable teams to execute.
- Confidence working with KPIs, data tools (e.g., Looker) and insights — and the ability to derive clear decisions from them.
- Basic understanding of D2C mechanics and relevant performance metrics.
- Strong sense for brand management, consumer journeys and emotional storytelling — with the ability to set strategic frameworks and lead creative teams.
- Enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration and the ability to connect teams and drive initiatives independently.
- Bonus: You own a pet, have an affinity for the pet-food category, or have experience in D2C or digital direct sales.
