Role Description We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our People Products team reporting into the HCM Solutions Architect on the People Products team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for system configuration across various functional areas within Workday that power our employee experience and operational excellence, with the first big initiatives focused on Toast’s global expansion and supporting US payroll. You'll work closely with People, Finance, and IT stakeholders to build scalable and successfully adopted solutions. A day in the life (Responsibilities) - Serve as the subject matter expert across multiple areas of Workday, with specific focus on HCM. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (People Operations, Payroll, Total Rewards, IT, etc.) to understand and improve business processes, providing Workday solutions that drive efficiency. - Lead end-to-end system configuration to support evolving business needs. - Continuously identify opportunities for process efficiency and system improvements, adopting a product-driven mindset to optimize Workday. - Understand data flows, business processes, and system usages between Workday and other systems (both internal and external). - Drive major Workday releases, including comprehensive plan for adoption of new features and regression testing for impacts to existing configurations. - Collaborate with business leaders to design and build reports to assist in data analysis, trends, and strategic planning. - Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and collaborate with various departments to manage security configurations and access controls. - Evaluate requests for new products to determine alignment with existing Toast systems and overall systems strategy goals. Qualifications - 5+ years of hands-on configuration experience within Workday HCM, and 2+ years in at least one other functional area (Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Talent, Compensation, etc.). - 5+ years of proven ability building and maintaining Workday HCM reporting & security. - Workday Certification in Workday HCM (preferred). - Understands how company systems are integrated within and outside of the HR organization. - Has worked in a highly matrixed, global organization. - Experienced working in a SOX based environment and have been responsible for programs and processes that are SOX compliant. - End-to-end process understanding with an ability to develop and maintain processes, and HR service center procedures. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and sound influential skills. - Project management experience with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage several objectives simultaneously while prioritizing and executing technology roadmap plans. - Collaborative problem-solving approach; leverages relationships and strong business acumen to understand not only the “what” but the “why” behind requests; displays empathy for partner teams. - Ability to multitask under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment; flexible and able to respond to rapidly changing business needs. • Attend presales meetings with Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Engineers (SEs) to lead client requirement discussions from a Professional Services perspective. • Facilitate discovery sessions to collect key technical inputs such as API details, telephony information, and use case data to ensure accurate delivery planning. • Draft, refine, and manage Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring alignment across project scope, timelines, and client expectations. • Manage the Pro-Serv quoting process, estimate service hours, and support internal resource planning using Cognigy’s tools. • Lead the handover process from presales to delivery teams, maintaining clear documentation and project details in Confluence. • Partner closely with Project Management, Solution Architecture, and Conversational Design teams to validate feasibility and ensure smooth execution. • Act as a liaison between customers, sales, and delivery teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. • Identify and mitigate risks across presales and delivery phases, while continuously contributing to operational improvement initiatives within Professional Services.

• Perform data analysis and reporting tasks, including extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions • Contribute to reports and dashboards to supervise project progress and performance metrics • Support the translation of business requirements into technical requirements, with mentorship from senior analysts • Assist in maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal team members and external customers
