Job Description

Salesforce Data Architect

• Design and lead data migration plans covering core Salesforce entities such as accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, activities, cases, and custom objects. • Develop scalable data migration frameworks that support phased, delta, and full-load approaches across Salesforce environments. • Drive alignment of legacy data models to Salesforce architecture, considering business rules, relationships, and multi-org/multi-currency configurations. • Define canonical data models and develop field-level mapping and transformation logic from source systems to Salesforce. • Collaborate with MDM teams to establish golden record definitions and implement identity resolution strategies across systems. • Implement governance controls, data stewardship policies, and compliance mechanisms (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to ensure trusted and compliant data usage. • Ensure data lineage and integrity across the CRM ecosystem by working closely with enterprise architects and data owners. • Conduct comprehensive data profiling, identify duplicates, incomplete records, and inconsistent values across datasets. • Lead deduplication efforts using tools such as Informatica Cloud Data Quality, DemandTools, or custom scripts. • Design rules and processes for data cleansing, normalization, and enrichment to ensure completeness and accuracy of migrated and integrated data. • Establish data quality KPIs and continuously monitor and report on data integrity across the Salesforce platform. • Develop and execute ETL processes using tools such as Informatica (Cloud and MDM), DBAmp, Pentaho, Dataloader, or SQL-based frameworks. • Manage iterative data loads into Salesforce sandboxes and production environments, validating against source system records and business rules. • Deliver thorough documentation, test plans, and support materials to enable stakeholder adoption and long-term maintenance. • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to define data requirements, risks, and success metrics. • Work closely with Salesforce Solution Architects, Admins, Developers, RevOps, and QA teams to ensure data supports end-to-end business processes. • Standardize data practices by contributing to internal playbooks, templates, accelerators, and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture and CRM data migrations, with a strong focus on Salesforce platforms
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce data models across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom apps
  • Experience with tools such as Informatica Cloud, Informatica MDM, DBAmp, Dataloader, or similar ETL/data integration tools
  • Strong SQL skills for data analysis, cleansing, and transformation (joins, window functions, data profiling)
  • Proven experience with deduplication, data cleansing, and improving data quality at scale
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MDM frameworks, data stewardship, and governance best practices

The Data Technology at Revecore is empowering the business in unlocking new opportunities by integrating data and machine learning across our products and business functions. This team is composed of Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Science and Machine Learning (ML) Engineering specializations. The Senior Data Engineer will join the Technology function, solving complex data problems for the Revecore Data Platform. The ideal candidate is capable of contributing to platform, architecture, and automation best practices, while also diving deep into specific areas and finding the best path forward. You are expected to pave the path for the data teams around data ingestion, data pipelines and data operations. You will be responsible for building a modern data lakehouse platform that will transform Revecore and its capabilities. What You'll Do - Accountable for the implementation and quality of the data platforms (availability, reliability, resilience, security, etc.) and adherence to consistent standards for engineering excellence. - Improve the quality of the engineering practice, and the quality of the domain’s output. - Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and reliable data pipelines. - Work directly with other Data Engineers to understand their needs and develop tooling and automation to improve developer efficiency. - Monitor data systems and performance and look for ways to drive down our warehouse and infrastructure costs. - Proactively research and understand industry trends on various components of the data platform. Qualifications - Strong experience with Azure Cloud services is required, including hands-on work with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and Power BI. - Proven ability to design and build scalable ELT pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions using modern tools such as Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow. - Deep expertise in Python and SQL is required. - Strong proficiency in C#, with experience maintaining and enhancing complex, homegrown codebases used for data orchestration, transformation, file movement, and delivery. Familiarity with .NET Framework and .NET Core is essential. - Ability to bridge legacy systems with modern cloud-native architectures, contributing to platform modernization efforts. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD best practices for data platforms. - Solid understanding of the data software development lifecycle (SDLC) and deployment automation workflows. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
