Job Description The BAE Systems Aviation Solutions Division provides direct project support for programs and platforms at Patuxent River Air Base and Webster Field Base in Southern Maryland. System aircraft design and development tasking drives projects for equipment removal and replacement, complex cable harness fabrication, aircraft installation efforts, and facility support. The Division Program Manager is currently searching for qualified and experienced candidates to join the Aviation Solution team to expand capabilities and provide operational excellence to the both the customer and war fighter. Project operations has an opening for facility support and building management tasking, including opening and closing building, escorting and coordinating with contractors and other visitors. Will also perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, maintenance, docking system repair, vessel lift operations, material handling, truck deliveries, and facility construction operations. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Performs calibration and alignment checks and makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed. Prepares prescribed solutions and assists in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. May assist in shipping, receiving, material handling, delivery, RMA procedures, hazmat, inventory, operations and logistics of overall site location. The hourly rate is set Dept of Labor and is not negotiable. Current rate is $25.72/hr. This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
