Product Manager - New Initiatives

Title: Product Manager-New Initiatives Location: Remote, USA Job Description: Contracted Experienced Product Manager, New Initiatives ABOUT US We simplify complex public records so millions of people can find what they need, fast. We're AI-forward, performance-driven, and remote-first — with a global team that moves with the speed and clarity of a company hungry to win. We don't manage hours. We build outcomes. THE ROLE This isn't a research role. You're not handing off a report and waiting. You're the driver — deciding what to build, sequencing the work, pulling in the right people, and making the call. You'll work across entirely new markets and product categories, and you'll move fast without losing rigor. Right now, that means things like evaluating market entry across international geographies, designing lightweight MVPs to validate demand, and delivering a clear go/no-go recommendation backed by real data — not hedged possibilities. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Take new products and market opportunities from initial idea through validation to a committed go/no-go recommendation. - Design and sequence MVP tests — deciding what's worth building, how to build it lean, and what to cut. - Determine what to handle yourself and what to delegate. Pull in dev, design, and ops as collaborators, not order-takers. - Define the metrics upfront. Know exactly what a result needs to show to justify a full build — or to stop. - Identify the hardest obstacle in each initiative and find a credible path through it, not around it. - Communicate clearly: data-backed updates, early flags, no spin. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - You've launched or tested something new — a product, a market, a line of business — and owned the outcome. - You think in sequences: what needs to happen first, what can run in parallel, what's a trap. - You know when to build something yourself and when to bring in the right person. You don't let either become an excuse. - AI-native. You use it constantly, across every type of work — research, synthesis, scoping, communication. Not optional. - You write and communicate with precision. Your updates don't require translation. - You've worked in a fast-moving, outcomes-driven environment and thrived — not survived. WHAT WE OFFER - Salary range $160,000- $180,000 annually - Fully remote with quarterly team meetups in Las Vegas - Unlimited PTO — no hour tracking, no performance theater - $25,000 EV credit + home solar panels - A team that moves fast, decides with data, and doesn't confuse activity with progress By applying to this job, as part of our typical recruiting process, from time to time, we may contact you regarding positions that we feel are a good fit for you or engage with you during the recruiting process via SMS text message. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile phone service plan.

Senior Product Manager - Compliance & Workflow
AppfireAppfire is a computer software company that has been recognized as a “global authority” on Atlassian products and software. As an employer, the company aims
Role Description We’re seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development of the Comala Document Management (CDM) app for Confluence Cloud. CDM is a workflow management platform that enables organizations to control, review, approve, and govern content through structured, auditable processes. In this role, you will shape how teams manage document workflows within Confluence Cloud, designing solutions that help organizations—particularly those operating in highly regulated environments—maintain compliance, process integrity, and document control without sacrificing collaboration. You will work at the intersection of workflow automation, compliance requirements, user experience, and the Atlassian ecosystem, creating powerful yet intuitive tools that transform standard Confluence pages into controlled, reliable, and auditable documents. We are looking for a strategic product leader with experience building products in compliance-heavy, workflow-driven environments such as medtech, fintech, GRC, or other regulated industries. You have a proven track record of defining product strategy, launching new capabilities, and evolving existing products based on customer needs and business objectives. You are highly analytical, comfortable defining and tracking product metrics, and use data to inform decisions and measure success. The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with a deep understanding of operational workflows, risk management, and process governance, enabling them to deliver solutions that drive both user value and business impact. Qualifications - Proven product management experience within the Atlassian ecosystem (Confluence, Jira) or similar B2B SaaS marketplace platforms. - A strong understanding of document lifecycles, approval routing, electronic signatures, and version control. - Familiarity with building software for regulated industries or handling strict compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations, SOC2) is a massive plus. - The ability to effectively collaborate with engineering teams on cloud architecture, APIs, and platform integrations (experience with Atlassian Forge or Connect is highly desirable). - A track record of designing intuitive UI/UX for complex, multi-step processes, ensuring that administrative tools remain accessible to everyday users. Requirements - Define the Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for the Comala Document Management, aligning with both the company’s business objectives and Atlassian’s evolving Cloud platform architecture. - Design Document Workflows and Compliance Features: Drive the development of core capabilities like custom approval workflows, electronic signatures, and audit trails, ensuring they meet the strict compliance needs of our enterprise customers (e.g., ISO, FDA 21 CFR Part 11). - Deepen the Atlassian Integration: Collaborate seamlessly with engineering to leverage Atlassian’s APIs (like Forge or Connect), ensuring the app feels like a native, high-performing extension of the Confluence Cloud experience. - Champion the User Experience: Translate complex document control requirements into intuitive, frictionless user stories, making it easy for Confluence users to build workflows without getting bogged down in technical administration. - Drive Marketplace Growth and Adoption: Monitor Atlassian Marketplace metrics, analyze customer feedback, and track user behavior to inform feature prioritization, improve retention, and drive cloud migrations. Benefits - Equity: Every Appfire team member is eligible for company equity, fostering a true sense of ownership and connection to our growth. - Time Off & Flexibility: - 25 days of annual leave per calendar year (January–December). - Up to 10 unused vacation days may be carried over to the following year and must be used by December 31. - Reduced summer hours to support better work-life balance. - Flexible bank holidays, allowing employees to exchange one public holiday for another. - This role is fully remote within Spain, with the option to work from our Bilbao office whenever preferred. - Learning & Development: Grow with Appfire University — our custom, on-demand learning platform designed to support continuous learning and professional development. - Health & Wellbeing: - Private health insurance through IMQ or Adeslas, fully covered by Appfire for enrolled employees. - Family members may also be added at a discounted rate through payroll deduction. - €400 gross annual sport allowance for gym memberships, outdoor activities, sports equipment, running gear, and other wellness-related expenses. - Work-from-Home Support: Appfire provides €50 per month to help cover home office and remote work expenses. - Community & Volunteering: Employees receive 3 fully paid volunteering days each year through Appfire Town, our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program supporting local communities.
