Job Description

Product Lead – Live Strategy Games

Stillfront Group

• Own the product roadmap for both Empire titles: set priorities, communicate rationale, and ensure strategy translates into shipped results • Be the final product voice on feature scope, economy design, and Live Ops direction • Lead and develop a multi-functional product team covering Game Design, Live Ops, and CRM • Translate the product strategy into a clear, outcome-driven roadmap and keep all stakeholders aligned on priority and reasoning • Define feature requirements, success metrics, and measurable outcomes; create the structured briefs and documentation that enable efficient execution • Approve concepts from Design, Live Ops, and CRM - and make sure offers, campaigns, and sales calendars are in service of the roadmap and business targets • Maintain deep KPI fluency: read retention, revenue, and player behaviour patterns and turn those insights into product decisions • Spot opportunities and risks across the full product funnel - from acquisition to late-game engagement • Provide disciplinary leadership and development-focused feedback to your product team members

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record in senior product management for live F2P games
  • Strong product sense: you understand what drives player behaviour, how F2P monetization and economies work, and how to evaluate feature impact before shipping
  • Experience with Live Ops and CRM as product levers, not just operational tasks
  • Ability to create stakeholder alignment and drive confident decisions - you don't need consensus to move
  • Clear, direct communicator who writes crisp requirements and can translate complex tradeoffs into simple choices for others
  • Experience leading or developing a product team, with a genuine interest in people development
  • Comfortable navigating data without being dependent on analysts for every answer.

Benefits

  • remote work within Germany
  • 30 days of vacation
  • Flat hierarchies and direct access to senior leadership from day one
  • A stable, profitable product with real scope for long-term impact

Role Description We’re seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development of the Comala Document Management (CDM) app for Confluence Cloud. CDM is a workflow management platform that enables organizations to control, review, approve, and govern content through structured, auditable processes. In this role, you will shape how teams manage document workflows within Confluence Cloud, designing solutions that help organizations—particularly those operating in highly regulated environments—maintain compliance, process integrity, and document control without sacrificing collaboration. You will work at the intersection of workflow automation, compliance requirements, user experience, and the Atlassian ecosystem, creating powerful yet intuitive tools that transform standard Confluence pages into controlled, reliable, and auditable documents. We are looking for a strategic product leader with experience building products in compliance-heavy, workflow-driven environments such as medtech, fintech, GRC, or other regulated industries. You have a proven track record of defining product strategy, launching new capabilities, and evolving existing products based on customer needs and business objectives. You are highly analytical, comfortable defining and tracking product metrics, and use data to inform decisions and measure success. The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with a deep understanding of operational workflows, risk management, and process governance, enabling them to deliver solutions that drive both user value and business impact. Qualifications - Proven product management experience within the Atlassian ecosystem (Confluence, Jira) or similar B2B SaaS marketplace platforms. - A strong understanding of document lifecycles, approval routing, electronic signatures, and version control. - Familiarity with building software for regulated industries or handling strict compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations, SOC2) is a massive plus. - The ability to effectively collaborate with engineering teams on cloud architecture, APIs, and platform integrations (experience with Atlassian Forge or Connect is highly desirable). - A track record of designing intuitive UI/UX for complex, multi-step processes, ensuring that administrative tools remain accessible to everyday users. Requirements - Define the Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for the Comala Document Management, aligning with both the company’s business objectives and Atlassian’s evolving Cloud platform architecture. - Design Document Workflows and Compliance Features: Drive the development of core capabilities like custom approval workflows, electronic signatures, and audit trails, ensuring they meet the strict compliance needs of our enterprise customers (e.g., ISO, FDA 21 CFR Part 11). - Deepen the Atlassian Integration: Collaborate seamlessly with engineering to leverage Atlassian’s APIs (like Forge or Connect), ensuring the app feels like a native, high-performing extension of the Confluence Cloud experience. - Champion the User Experience: Translate complex document control requirements into intuitive, frictionless user stories, making it easy for Confluence users to build workflows without getting bogged down in technical administration. - Drive Marketplace Growth and Adoption: Monitor Atlassian Marketplace metrics, analyze customer feedback, and track user behavior to inform feature prioritization, improve retention, and drive cloud migrations. Benefits - Equity: Every Appfire team member is eligible for company equity, fostering a true sense of ownership and connection to our growth. - Time Off & Flexibility: - 25 days of annual leave per calendar year (January–December). - Up to 10 unused vacation days may be carried over to the following year and must be used by December 31. - Reduced summer hours to support better work-life balance. - Flexible bank holidays, allowing employees to exchange one public holiday for another. - This role is fully remote within Spain, with the option to work from our Bilbao office whenever preferred. - Learning & Development: Grow with Appfire University — our custom, on-demand learning platform designed to support continuous learning and professional development. - Health & Wellbeing: - Private health insurance through IMQ or Adeslas, fully covered by Appfire for enrolled employees. - Family members may also be added at a discounted rate through payroll deduction. - €400 gross annual sport allowance for gym memberships, outdoor activities, sports equipment, running gear, and other wellness-related expenses. - Work-from-Home Support: Appfire provides €50 per month to help cover home office and remote work expenses. - Community & Volunteering: Employees receive 3 fully paid volunteering days each year through Appfire Town, our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program supporting local communities.
