Role Description Leidos’ Integrated Airborne Solutions division is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Representative (FSR) to provide onsite and remote systems engineering support for multiple manned airborne ISR platforms. This role supports customers at both CONUS and OCONUS locations and is ideal for self‑starters who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and are committed to excellence in mission execution. Candidates with experience in Full Motion Video (FMV), video distribution systems, tactical communications, and core IT principles will excel in this position. Primary Responsibilities - Maintain, service, troubleshoot, test, and document technical data for aircraft mission equipment and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), including: - Tactical communications (BLOS/VULOS: KOR‑24, PRC‑117/152/167, ARC‑231) - CTDLs (Link‑16, BFT/FBCB2) - LOS datalinks (Vortex, MANeT) - Cryptographic equipment (CSEC), DTDs, IP networking, EO/IR, SIGINT, BLOS, and PPL systems - Implement configuration management, safety, and quality assurance processes in accordance with AS9100D and contractual requirements. - Maintain tactical communications suites, including applicable CSEC. - Engineer, monitor, and troubleshoot internal and external networks (encryptors, firewalls, routers, switches). - Conduct and document preventative maintenance checks to ensure mission readiness in demanding environments. - Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot an on‑site Sensor Integration Lab (SIL) to support mission equipment scalability. - Perform software patching and troubleshooting for Microsoft and Linux systems. - Implement and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS. - Create documentation for new technologies and configuration procedures to ensure program consistency. Secondary Responsibilities - Configure tactical communications based on local requirements and coordinate updates with Leidos and customer stakeholders. - Maintain and implement tactical radio configurations, including mission management tools and network settings. - Serve as the local CSSR representative, interfacing with Leidos and customer POCs to manage and update tactical communication devices. - Develop and implement local security measures for hardware, platforms, spares, and CSEC devices. - Perform additional duties as required by platform needs or contractual obligations. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with less than 2 years of experience in Networking, VMware, or Microsoft servers. - An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree. - DoD 8570/8140 IAT or IAM Level II (or higher). - Strong general IT knowledge with the ability to identify issues and research solutions. - Demonstrated motivation to learn and adopt new technologies. - Willingness to travel and deploy to CONUS/OCONUS locations, including remote or hardship environments. - Active SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TS. - Must be a U.S. citizen. Preferred Qualifications - Prior military airborne ISR or flight operations experience. - Experience with Leidos IAS ISR platforms, including development, integration, testing, CONOPS, and maintenance. - Hands‑on experience with DoD avionics, including EO/IR FMV, tactical communications, navigation, CSEC, SIGINT, and aircraft survivability systems. - Broad technical background in systems engineering, ISR sensors, requirements tracking, testing, and validation. - Strong understanding of electronics principles and proficiency with test equipment.
