The Collectible Senior Manager provides strategic oversight and subject matter expertise for the Collectibles line of business. This role partners with General Managers and cross-functional teams to drive listing quality, production and revenue performance, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth. Success requires strong organizational skills, analytical capability, and the ability to balance short-term execution with long-term planning and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Support the General Managers in providing oversight with the Lead Collectible Receivers to drive quality listings, achieve production/revenue targets, and other support functions such as recruiting/training for Collectible roles.  - Identify opportunities to drive cost savings and achieve financial targets within the budget/forecast planning process. - Partner with the Marketing team to provide Collectible related campaigns, newsletter submissions and other forms of targeted marketing. - Focus on customer growth and satisfaction.  Consistently improve merchandising to drive attach rate and unit sales. - Build and maintain relationships with processing center management that support a profitable growth strategy for the line of business. - Own forecasting inputs for the collectibles business (supply plan, production capacity, revenue expectations) and partner with Finance/Operations on variance analysis and action plans. - Support the procurement plan of supply to support production targets for Collectible Receivers. - Partner with the Customer Service team to address customer related issues and ensure that the Collectible line of business delivers quality product and customer satisfaction.  - Complete special projects and assignments as requested. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training. LOCATION: This is a remote role. Applicants must reside in WA, TX, AZ, IL, MD, or GA. Qualifications WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Experience & Education - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the rare/collectible book field - Experience leading multi-site programs/operations and influencing leaders (since this role supports GMs). - Knowledge of collectibles pricing/market dynamics and demonstrated decision making with incomplete data. - Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint) What You Need to Succeed - Knowledge and understanding of rare book market - Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills - Critical thinking and effective negotiation skills - Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written) - Ability to work well with a team - Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment - Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities ThriftBooks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
