Director of Card Fraud

• Lead strategies reduce fraud losses across the credit card lifecycle with a heavy emphasis on origination and the first 30 days, while balancing onboarding friction, operating expenses, and customer experience • Chair the cross-functional Card Fraud Business Area with team members from operations, product, engineering, decision science, analytics, risk management, compliance, and finance • Partner closely with Decision Science team to evaluate performance, develop new approaches, and lead efforts on the acquisition of high-performing data sources • Accountable for overall card fraud performance and financial targets

Job Requirements

  • Fraud risk management experience in a fast growing consumer lending business; proven ability to “own a loss target” and manage it effectively; practical expertise on strategies to manage risk for fully-digital consumer lending origination
  • Demonstrated success working in a matrixed organization and partnering with a strong data science / decision science / fraud analytics team
  • Practical/operating understanding of statistical modeling
  • Practical/operating understanding of machine learning principles
  • Demonstrated understanding of the best practices and leading third-party solutions in the fraud data space, including credit bureaus, public records, network risk scores, digital identity and footprint, etc.
  • Vendor management skills; knows how to negotiate and drive effectiveness with data suppliers and partners
  • Experience in credit card transaction risk modeling
  • Experience operating on Fiserv Defense Edge platform for credit card transaction risk modeling

Role Description Mission Clean Energy is seeking a Senior Permitting Manager with extensive utility-scale renewable energy experience to join our dynamic team and drive permitting for our solar and BESS projects. The ideal candidate will have a broad skill set to work across a wide variety of specialties including: - Business - Finance - Communications - Biology - Policy - Real Estate This position will report directly to the Head of Development and will oversee permitting workstreams, working closely with Developers, Development Managers, as well as the GIS, Engineering, and Real Estate teams. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, submit, and coordinate agency approval of applications for discretionary permits and other entitlements critical to project viability and success. - Schedule and lead public meetings with external stakeholders including public hearings, town halls, pre-application meetings, and board discussions. - Obtain local support using a variety of methods including informational flyers, individual meetings, and community events. - Manage a network of external consultants in the scoping of biological, cultural, and other resource surveys and the preparation of diligence documents necessary for environmental permitting and financing processes. - Coordinate with and solicit feedback from a network of geographically dispersed internal colleagues in the preparation of land use permit applications and environmental documents. - In partnership with the development team, review zoning, floodplain, biological resources, wetlands, cultural resources, permitting fees, entitlement processes, community attributes, and other site-specific considerations to support early-stage project development. - Attend site visits in the field related to site assessment, community engagement, agency review, and construction. - Research and clearly/comprehensively summarize land, environmental review, and permitting requirements for early-stage project jurisdictions. - Attend local, state, federal land use planning and zoning meetings and industry association discussions; take clear, concise notes and summarize take-aways for internal teams. - Assist in coordination of public meetings and project hearings. - Prepare external presentation materials for, and participate in meetings with, key external stakeholders including local, state, and federal agencies, elected officials, project communities, environmental NGOs, and Native American tribes. - Prepare and provide permit compliance documentation to regulatory agencies. - Manage and keep up to date project permitting schedule and budgets. - Develop internal presentation, communication, and approval materials for executive management and other internal stakeholders. - Review draft permit requirements, maintain project obligation tracker, and complete permitting exhibits for contracts with project engineering, procurement, construction contractors. - Careful review of documents critical to a successful permitting and financing process.
