Role Description The File Management Specialist is a significant role within the IT department at HonorVet Technologies, responsible for managing and ensuring effective document control, confidentiality, and accessibility. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team, tasked with ensuring the maintenance of the information filing system in an organized, efficient, secure, and readily accessible manner. - Managing the company’s electronic and paper files, including organizing, categorizing, and storing for ease of use. - Developing effective file management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all industry and company legal regulations. - Regularly archiving and disposing of files in line with company record retention schedules, data protection, and confidentiality policies. - Carefully handling sensitive and confidential data, ensuring proper disposal when no longer required. - Monitoring and managing the digital filing system, maintaining system security and document privacy. - Regulating user access, training users on software use, and troubleshooting their issues. - Implementing records management and maintenance programs, conducting audits, and generating detailed reports to identify areas for improvement. - Collaborating with other teams to incorporate file management into project goals and departmental planning. Qualifications - A Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Management or related course is preferred. - A high school diploma with significant related work experience will also be considered. - Strong knowledge of office systems, filing, and records management procedures, and electronic records management software is essential. - Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, operability to multitask, and prior experience working with confidential information and records. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with different teams, staff, and possibly vendors, providing training where needed. - Ability to problem solve, be adaptable, and handle directives from multiple sources. Role Description We are seeking an experienced Courtroom Presentation Specialist to support ITC Federal’s work for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) under the anticipated MEGA 6 automated litigation support (ALS) program. This is a fully remote position supporting DOJ’s complex litigation mission.
