Senior Legal Counsel – Generalist

Mira Developments

• Provide legal support for expansion into new jurisdictions, including corporate setup, local approvals, and launch-related matters. • Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain a wide range of commercial agreements, including service, technology, vendor, partnership, and other business-critical contracts. • Lead legal workstreams and coordinate cross-functional projects together with compliance, operations, finance, technology, and leadership teams. • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in relevant markets and turn them into clear, practical recommendations for the business • Support licensing processes and ongoing legal matters in regulated jurisdictions, including Malta, India, and the UAE/DIFC. • Advise internal teams on commercial, regulatory, employment, and broader people-related issues. • Manage relationships with external counsel and ensure efficient, high-quality, and commercially sound legal support.

Job Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with 7+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Previous experience at a leading international law firm or a top-tier regional practice.
  • Strong track record of independently handling sophisticated multi-jurisdictional matters and delivering within deadlines
  • Commercially minded approach with the ability to balance legal risk and business priorities
  • Confident user of Google Workspace and modern AI tools, including Gemini, Claude, and similar platforms, with the ability to apply them effectively in day-to-day work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and practical way to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay effective under pressure.
  • Fluent Russian and English, both written and spoken.
