Role Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support our organization’s Human Resources functions and contribute to building a strong, talented workforce. This is part-time position, averaging 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday. This is a fully remote position, to be located in the Richmond, VA area. Responsibilities - Assist with the recruitment process, including maintaining job posts and candidate records, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews - Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department - Assist with providing timely responses to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures - Support onboarding and orientation programs for new hires - Assist with special projects and operational tasks as needed - Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive records Qualifications - Strong organizational and time management skills - Attentive to detail and solution focused - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with Human Resource Information Systems or Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Previous experience in human resources or recruiting is a plus Requirements - Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility. Role Description We are seeking a Temporary HR Coordinator to support core HR operations during a transition period.
