Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Operations Department Scheduler to be a part of our dynamic team at Wallops Island Virginia in the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) Facility. SCSC provides live combat systems suites with platform specific radars and sensors and supports the following functions: combat system lifetime support engineering, platform certification, operational and technical evaluation, combat system training, interoperability testing and participates in at-sea exercises. SCSC provides a high-fidelity representative combat system of every ship in the AEGIS, Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) fleet today and those planned in the future. The selected candidate will - Review customer requests for test time De-conflict equipment assets requested by multiple customers for the same time period Participate in scheduling meetings and contact mission POC's to negotiate conflicting requests Respond to and execute Operations Officer and Scheduling Officer guidelines and directives Develop mission schedule projections for SCSC and planning and conducting Mission Readiness Reviews (MRR) Required Education, Experience, & Skills Minimum education and relevant/related years of experience: High School/GED and at least 5 years experience in military asset de-confliction and scheduling and a minimum of one (1) year of experience with TRMS, or other similar scheduling database is required. Security clearance requirement: This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance. If selected candidate is not in possession of an active Secret clearance, then he/she will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until an interim Secret clearance is granted. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Highly desired, but not required: Active DoD security clearance Experience in an RDT&E environment Experience on AEGIS ships or Land Based Test Sites Experience with Microsoft Projects Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $51273 - $87164 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
