Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist

• The Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst works within the regulatory reporting department and is involved in the day-to-day management of compliance within the insurance regulatory systems. • Collecting data from various company systems • Preparation of data for submission to rating bureaus or state departments of insurance, which includes: scanning data for errors, communication with other departments within the company regarding any issues, preparing a final data file, proposing changes to prevent future errors from occurring • Submission of data to rating bureaus or state departments of insurance • Interaction with rating bureaus or state departments of insurance including: responding to questions about the data, retrieving Error Reports from the insurance bureaus websites, fixing errors found by the rating bureaus, departments of insurance, or as requested by management • Liaison between all third parties involved in the THREE WCPOLS reporting process to ensure issues are resolved (this includes knowledge of the systems of record used by THREE) • Provide guidance to other team members for processing WCPOLS, WCSTAT reporting and corrections to NCCI and all state bureaus and agencies. • Display leadership in helping to educate other Team Members by demonstrating examples of how to solve a problem (don’t just tell them what to do—show them how to do it) • Ensure all departmental procedures are up to date • Assist in the generation of management reports, as needed • Other duties, as required

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel (apply/remove filters and sorting data is critical)
  • A bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a related degree
  • An obsession with detail and inability to let problems grow, regardless of their magnitude
  • Willingness to perform additional duties, as required
  • Ability to follow instructions (training will be provided)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management
  • Ability to multi-task with multiple systems/applications open simultaneously
  • Demonstrates the need to ask questions for clarity when something isn’t clear.

Job Summary & Responsibilities The Compliance Analyst will report to the Financial Crimes Manager in the Compliance and Risk Management Department. This role is responsible for performing a variety of duties to assist Inspira Financial Trust with compliance of internal policies and procedures as well as applicable agreements, contracts, laws, and regulations. Specifically, the Compliance Analyst will assist the Financial Crimes Manager in implementing the company's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and anti-money laundering (AML) program. This position will complete actions assigned to assist the company in compliance with the BSA, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), USA PATRIOT Act, and other AML laws and regulations. Primarily, program responsibilities will include training, communications, and implementations of processes to monitor transactions, identify and report suspicious activity, and prevent money laundering or other illegitimate financial transactions. Duties & Responsibilities: General Compliance and Risk Management - Assist with management of incoming requests to the department via Salesforce, Outlook, and Teams. - Cross train and provide backup to other compliance department staff as needed to meet department objectives. - Develop and present content to various audiences and respond to inquiries from internal business partners. - Stay up to date with new rules, regulations, and emerging risks to assist in development, implementation and revision of current policies and procedures. - Assist and support the Financial Crimes Manager in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance programs, policies, and practices. - Assist with creating and providing compliance training to employees. - Foster an environment of teamwork, inclusiveness, and a culture of compliance. - Other duties as assigned.
