• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely, accurate, and supportive HR guidance. • Support all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal employee changes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. • Maintain employee records and HR documentation with accuracy and confidentiality. • Handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. • Support recruiting efforts through job postings, candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding documentation. • Partner with hiring managers to help create a positive and organized candidate experience. • Provide backup support for the international contractor lifecycle process. • Support compliance, systems, and policy training initiatives across the organization. • Assist with organizing training materials, resources, and internal knowledge documentation. • Assist in improving HR processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures to create more efficient and scalable operations. • Contribute to HR initiatives and projects that support employee engagement, operational effectiveness, and a positive company culture. • Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, tools, and processes for greater efficiency and consistency. • Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned by the Head of People & Culture.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of HR Generalist or HR Operations experience
- Strong understanding of HR practices, compliance, and employment laws including FMLA, ADA, and state leave regulations
- 3+ years supporting full cycle recruitment
- Experience supporting benefits administration and leave of absence processes
- Hands-on HRIS experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Process-improvement mindset with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint
- Positive, collaborative, and people-focused approach

Adjunct faculty have part-time teaching roles. Courses are offered on a term-by-term basis. Adjunct faculty can teach up to 3 courses per term, not to exceed 10 courses per year. What to expect in this role: - Provides a student-centered learning environment which enables students to attain success. - Teaches synchronous or asynchronous seminars (10 week units) as assigned by the School or program. - Maintains school-determined virtual office hours per week for each class. - Ensures timely management and response to electronic correspondence from students, administrators, and other University officials. - Leads message board discussion and engages students in relevant discussions and coursework. - Partners with Academic Advisors to address student concerns. A typical adjunct in the School of Aviation can expect to receive $3100 per full 10-week course. Due to the nature of the program, courses are typically in the low-enrollment category.
