Role Description In this role, the engineer contributes to the full systems engineering lifecycle by developing scalable, high-quality solutions for customer premises equipment (CPE) activation. Responsibilities include assisting in the design, deployment, and upkeep of carrier-grade provisioning systems, operations applications, and the databases and operating systems that support them. Furthermore, the individual acts as the Application Administrator for the operations, provisioning, and CPE activation platforms that underpin the infrastructure for all of Breezeline and Cogeco. Overseeing the regional provisioning landscape, the Provisioning Engineer manages, maintains, and continuously monitors HSD provisioning systems, including associated PON and HSD service platforms. This specialist role requires a deep understanding of Cable TV infrastructure, HSD environments, and network troubleshooting, alongside proficiency in protocols like DOCSIS, DHCP, and TFTP. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while applying superior troubleshooting expertise to ensure system reliability.
