This role starts with NGL and will extend across Mode’s broader portfolio as we develop user experiences that shape engagement, retention, virality, and revenue. The Role We’re seeking a bold, strategic UX Designer who blends creativity, analytical rigor, and a growth mindset. This is not a simple UI design role; it is for a thinker-doer who wants to shape how millions of users engage, share, and monetize across our products. You’ll design and optimize user experiences that drive engagement, retention, and revenue, starting with Mode’s new social app, and expanding across Mode’s broader portfolio. You’ll work at the intersection of design, product, data, and monetization, turning insights into elegant, high-impact experiences that fuel growth loops and business outcomes. Who You Are and What You’ll Do What You Bring to the Team 4–6+ years in UX/UI design with a strong foundation in user research, experimentation, and growth-driven design. Proven success in B2C, consumer mobile or social products, ideally with experience in growth and scale, virality, or projects focusing on driving retention. Fluent in data, comfortable running A/B tests, analyzing behavior funnels, and interpreting product metrics. Strategic thinker with strong business instincts; understands how design decisions influence engagement, LTV, and revenue. Proactive self-starter who moves fast, collaborates well across teams, and takes ownership from idea to launch. A portfolio that demonstrates bold ideas, measurable results, and clear storytelling around user and business impact. Understanding or experimentation with AI to speed up and enhance design workflows. Experience with use of AI for research and data interpretation.
