• This role is responsible for delivering high-quality technical service and support to medical imaging customers. • The technician will install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain medical imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all operational and safety standards. • Working independently in the field, this position diagnoses and resolves technical issues while adhering to OEM specifications, industry regulations, and company quality requirements. • Through expert problem-solving and customer-focused service, this role helps ensure reliable imaging performance for healthcare partners. • Service, install, evaluate, and maintain medical imaging equipment across the United States. • Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair imaging systems and computer components to meet OEM specifications and customer expectations. • Perform preventive maintenance and resolve advanced electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues. • Represent the company professionally during on-site visits and communicate customer feedback to internal teams. • Expand technical knowledge continually and contribute to improving engineering competency. • Provide timely project updates, insights, and responses to technical inquiries to support decision-making and customer satisfaction. • Document new processes and provide training to end users, while supporting additional duties as needed. • Ensure updates, calibrations or repairs are completed properly by running tests or diagnostics. • Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.
Job Requirements
- Preferred Experience 3-7 years’ experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent; ideal candidate will have Philips and/or GE CT/MR field service experience.
- Education (or equivalent experience) Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects at once.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills, using critical thinking, initiative, and diagnostic ability.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building, including clear verbal/written communication and positive interactions with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Flexibility, professionalism, and mature decision-making when resolving issues in fast-paced or challenging situations.
- High attention to detail with reliable follow-through, ensuring accurate documentation, safe work practices, and quality results.
- Proficiency with computers and related tools, including Microsoft Office, diagnostic software, hardware troubleshooting, and database entry/management.
