Solar Designer

• Generate professional solar layouts and designs using Pylon. • Prepare accurate, comprehensive quotes for the sales team, ensuring all components and labor costs are correctly accounted for. • Follow up on pending approvals to ensure project timelines remain on track. • Act as the primary administrative bridge between the office and the install teams. • Draft and send installation briefing emails, ensuring installers have all necessary site maps, equipment lists, and safety notes. • Coordinate schedule confirmations with customers and internal stakeholders. • Maintain and update the CRM with lead and project statuses. • Manage routine email correspondence with transparency and professionalism. • Work independently to solve routine bottlenecks in the pre-installation phase.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solar Designer or related role.
- Hands-on experience with Pylon and ServiceM8.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Google Workspace/Microsoft 365.
- Solid understanding of solar standards and regulations.
- A "self-starter" mindset. You must be comfortable working independently on routine tasks without needing constant supervision.
- Exceptional written English skills, specifically for professional email coordination.
- High attention to detail.
