Role Description Our client is a US-based private real estate investment firm operating within a diversified holding group. They are hiring a Marketing Specialist to execute hands-on digital marketing work across SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), content optimization, and social media — under the direction of an experienced Marketing Director who already has the strategy in place and is invested in mentoring the right hire. This is a tactical, execution-focused role. The Marketing Director sets priorities, defines the keyword work, and shapes the editorial direction; you bring the daily craft — writing, optimizing, scheduling, posting, monitoring, and reporting. You will work alongside an outsourced technical SEO partner, who handles the technical stack, so your focus stays on the on-page, content, AEO, and social work where execution quality compounds. The work is not high-volume content churn. The audience the firm serves is sophisticated — investors who read carefully before they invest — which means content quality matters more than content quantity. The hire who succeeds here treats every page and every post as something worth doing well, asks good questions when direction is unclear, and brings curiosity to the craft. In your first 90 days, you will have: - Shipped consistent social content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube - Optimized at least one priority page for Google Featured Snippets and AI answer engines - Built a working rhythm with the Marketing Director on content briefs and feedback cycles - Delivered a clean weekly read on performance using Google Search Console and SEMrush This role has a clear progression path. Strong execution and judgment over time open the door to broader scope and greater ownership. Responsibilities - SEO & AEO Execution - Execute on-page SEO and content optimization initiatives based on the Marketing Director's priorities - Build on the existing keyword strategy and content clusters - Support and coordinate with the outsourced technical SEO partner - Optimize content for AEO, including Google Featured Snippets, AI-driven search results, and voice/conversational search - Use Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Moz to monitor performance and identify opportunities - Update and optimize existing content to improve rankings, engagement, and conversions - Content & Optimization - Create and optimize new content where needed - Repurpose existing content across channels - Ensure content aligns with SEO and AEO best practices - Coordinate closely with the Marketing Director on content priorities and messaging - Social Media Management - Execute social media activity across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube - Manage content creation, scheduling, and posting (currently via Feedbird) - Improve content quality and consistency across platforms - Monitor engagement and performance and surface optimizations - Collaboration & Growth - Work closely with the Marketing Director and internal stakeholders - Be receptive to feedback and training while progressively taking ownership - Contribute ideas and observations to improve performance across channels - Operate with a proactive, self-starter mindset Qualifications - 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, content marketing, or social media - Working knowledge of on-page SEO and content optimization - Familiarity with AEO concepts including Featured Snippets, AI-driven search, and voice/conversational search - Experience using Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Moz - Hands-on experience managing business social media accounts across at least one of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or YouTube - Strong written English with attention to detail - Comfortable executing independently while collaborating with leadership - Eager to learn, adaptable, and growth-oriented Nice to Have - Experience marketing for financial services, real estate, alternative investments, or any B2B audience that demands credibility - Familiarity with Feedbird or comparable social scheduling tools - A portfolio of SEO, content, or social work you can point to with measurable outcomes - Exposure to CRM or email marketing tools Benefits - 100% remote, full-time role with a US-based client team - Compensation up to $8/hr - Direct mentorship from a Marketing Director who has built the strategy and wants to develop the right hire - A clear path to growing into greater scope and ownership over time - The chance to work on craft-quality marketing, not high-volume churn
