• Support day-to-day accounting operations for nonprofit clients, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation • Assist with fund accounting, including tracking restricted and unrestricted funds and supporting grant and donor reporting • Prepare and review financial reports for internal use and client stakeholders • Support year-end processes, including audit preparation and coordinating requests with auditors • Assist with process improvements and help implement best practices across client engagements • Work within accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct) and support data accuracy and reporting needs • Communicate with clients to gather information, resolve basic issues, and provide status updates
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to nonprofit / fund accounting
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with fund accounting concepts (restricted vs. unrestricted funds, grants, donor reporting)
- Experience working in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Blackbaud Financial Edge and Raisers Edge, QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify, Concur, ADP, and/or Gusto
