Director, Product Design

Cyderes

• Define and own the product design vision across Cyderes’ MDR platform, ensuring a consistent, intuitive, and scalable user experience. • Translate complex security data, workflows, and SOC operations into clear, actionable, and elegant experiences. • Establish and evolve Cyderes’ design principles, standards, and design system. • Lead end-to-end design for core workflows including alerting, investigation, response, reporting, and customer visibility. • Proactively build trusted relationships with Product Management and Engineering to deliver customer delight, easy usability and intuitive value. • Champion user research and usability testing to deeply understand customer, analyst, and internal SOC user needs. • Use insights from customers, SOC analysts, and stakeholders to inform design decisions and priorities. • Balance usability, speed, accessibility, and scalability in a complex enterprise environment to quickly drive results. • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Product Designers and UX professionals. • Foster a strong design culture focused on collaboration, craft excellence, and customer outcomes. • Own and scale a robust design system that supports consistency, efficiency, and accessibility across products. • Ensure design quality, usability, and visual excellence across all product surfaces. • Establish processes for design reviews, critiques, and continuous improvement. • Communicate complex concepts with clarity to leadership.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product design or UX, with 4+ years in a design leadership role.
  • Experience designing complex B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, workflow design, and impact at scale.
  • Proven experience partnering with Product and Engineering leaders.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, data-intensive platforms, or developer/analyst tools.
  • Familiarity with SOC workflows, alerting systems, dashboards, or security analytics.
  • Experience building and scaling design systems.
  • Experience leading design in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
