Media Director
Community Boost
• Create, Lead and enforce a unified performance media operating model across all digital channels (Search, Social, Programmatic, CTV, and emerging platforms) • Standardize media planning frameworks, budget allocation models, forecasting tools, and testing roadmaps • Define and roll out campaign structure standards, QA protocols, naming conventions, pacing rules, and optimization cadence • Establish performance accountability systems, including escalation thresholds and cross-account benchmarking • Partner with Data & Analytics to align on attribution frameworks, reporting clarity, GA4 reconciliation, and measurement narratives • Improve margin predictability by partnering with Operations and PMO on workload alignment, scope discipline, and utilization • Foster innovation in creative testing framework, incrementality experimentation • Grow our CTV offering and emerging performance channels • Mentor and develop Channel Leads and senior specialists into strategic owners • Train media specialists on strategic reporting - writing insights that provide constructive benefit for the media programs • Hold specialists accountable and reduce errors such as typos and over or under-spending • Serve as senior strategic lead on key nonprofit accounts, owning media vision and high-level performance accountability • Lead high-risk account audits and stabilization plans when performance volatility occurs • Develop audience-led, full-funnel strategies aligned to fundraising, donor acquisition, advocacy, and mission-driven KPIs • Oversee quarterly roadmapping and ensure reporting clearly articulates what changed, why, results, and next decisions • Contribute to new business strategy, pitch development, and media POVs tailored to nonprofit growth challenges • Strengthen client relationships at the senior level, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point
Job Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience leading multi-channel performance marketing programs in an agency environment
- Experience working with mission-driven, nonprofit, or fundraising-focused organizations preferred
- Deep hands-on expertise in Meta, Google Ads, Programmatic DSPs, GA4, and attribution methodologies
- Proven experience building and enforcing media operating models, standards, and QA frameworks
- Strong background in full-funnel planning, budget allocation modeling, and performance forecasting
- Demonstrated success turning around underperforming or at-risk accounts
- Experience managing and mentoring media teams and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong financial acumen, including revenue growth, margin protection, and scope discipline
- Ability to translate complex performance data into clear executive-level narratives
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in a high-autonomy environment while enforcing standards and accountability
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive both operational rigor and innovation
