SEO Optimization Manager
LagoWe connect talented individuals from emerging markets with top-tier remote job opportunities.
• Stand up a documented, repeatable SEO framework covering title structure (brand, product type, gender, color, key features, size hierarchy), bullet structure (benefit-led, not feature-led), product description, A+ content, and backend search terms. • Define keyword research methodology using DataDive as the primary tool and Helium 10 as the secondary tool. Document the workflow end-to-end with Loom video walkthroughs in English. • Build a clear hierarchy of information: what comes first in the title, what drives visibility, where each keyword class should live. • Publish SOPs to the team's master SOP sheet and train the catalog team (Milica, Bojana) on the new standards. • Build a tiered prioritization model for SEO investment: high-velocity Nike Team replenishment ASINs and listings tied to original UPCs get full optimization; closeout or short-lifecycle items get a lighter pass. • Optimize new listings at the point of creation. Partner with the catalog team so SEO is built in upfront rather than retroactively cleaned up. • Work systematically through the existing catalog (roughly 2,500 to 2,800 ASINs) from highest revenue and lowest current quality, optimizing titles, bullets, descriptions, and backend search terms. • Track before and after performance per optimized ASIN: rank movement, session count, conversion rate, and unit velocity. • Take ownership of the DataDive workflow that our PPC lead has begun rolling out. Refine, deepen, and standardize it. • Build keyword libraries by product category (Nike Team apparel, Adidas, footwear, accessories) that feed both SEO and PPC. • Coordinate with our PPC lead so SEO keyword research and PPC campaign keywords are unified, not duplicated. • Stay current on Amazon search algorithm changes, Rufus and AI-search behavior, and best practices for indexing on reseller listings (no Brand Registry access). • Identify listings underperforming due to catalog issues (bad titles, weak images, missing backend attributes, suppressed detail pages) and coordinate fixes with the catalog team. • Partner with catalog on image quality standards: define minimum resolution rules, document approved image sources, and contribute to a centralized image-source database. • Flag and route variation structure problems, missing attributes, and inconsistent color or value data that are dragging rank. • Deliver a weekly SEO performance report: ASINs optimized, before and after KPIs, current backlog, and the next week's priorities. • Build a monthly rollup that ties SEO work to catalog-level outcomes (organic session growth, conversion lift, organic rank movement on tracked keywords). • Maintain a living SEO scorecard the leadership team can review.
