Role Description The One Stop Specialist I will knowledgably assist and continually support UMass Global Students with each of the various steps and processes experienced throughout the student lifecycle and beyond. They will provide high quality, customer focused service to all students, staff, and guests. Position Duties and Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Financial Aid: - Acquire and demonstrate content knowledge regarding specific degree, credential, and certificate programs. - Pursue and demonstrate knowledge of the Federal Financial Aid program. - Serve as the main point of contact for students with the financial aid office. - Provide financial aid information to students regarding the application process, needs determination, verification, and status of their financial aid application in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. - Work with Financial Aid Office to resolve information discrepancies. - Reconcile admission status with financial aid applications. - Complete funding plans based on student education plans. - Student Accounts/Business Services: - Assist students with various questions regarding their accounts including but not limited to payments, holds, and refunds. - Run student account reports, analyze student accounts and records for accuracy and completion. - Contact students regarding past due accounts and provide due diligence in collecting money owed to the university. - Student Services: - Perform student services functions including assisting students with registration questions/processes; add/drop procedures, graduation information and basic student application questions. - Input and track missing documents including Financial Responsibility Agreements (FRAs) and Interest Disclosure Statements. - Military Programs: - Provide information to military students regarding all applicable programs and services. - Collect & review all military program forms, build and maintain military student file of supporting eligibility documents and continued certification of enrollment for audit purposes. - Work with Military and VA Student Services staff to assist veteran students with any issues that may affect their attendance or benefits. - Other Duties: - Performs other duties, as assigned. The Admission Representative is responsible for successfully guiding the applicant through the admissions process and for representing Brandman in a positive and professional manner. They will collaborate across departments in the coordination of requests for teaching approvals, new hire business practices, collection of new hire documents and concierge and onboarding activities. Role Description The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist enhances the University’s online visibility and contributes to the digital marketing efforts. Responsible for the development and delivery of the University’s website with an emphasis on SEO, analysis, and compliance. Liaisons with IT department as a technical resource for the website and manages outside agencies, vendors, and tools related to website development and SEO. Role Description The Associate Dean of School of Health & Behavioral Sciences supports the Dean in advancing the vision, mission, and strategic plan of the institution. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Strategic Initiative Leadership & Project Management - Manage complex, institution-wide strategic initiatives requiring cross-unit coordination and accelerated timelines. - Develop comprehensive project plans, charters, timelines, workflows, and accountability structures. - Manage and coordinate leaders across academic and operational divisions, ensuring alignment of priorities, information flow, and timely decision-making. - Synthesize feedback and operational details from multiple units and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations, as appropriate. - Anticipate barriers, propose innovative solutions, and maintain momentum toward “go-live.” Cross-Functional Coordination & Institutional Alignment - Serve as a connector across university divisions, academic schools, governance bodies, and executive leadership to ensure alignment and clarity. - Facilitate cross-functional meetings and working groups, guiding leaders toward consensus and unified institutional direction. - Gather, analyze, and integrate input from unit leaders to produce concise summaries and recommended courses of action - Engage stakeholders early to secure institutional buy-in and ensure transparent communication of all decisions and timelines. Strategic Communication & Executive Decision Translation - Translate complex executive decisions into actionable, well-structured workflows for cross-functional teams. - Prepare recommendations for the Provost and other senior leaders as appropriate based on synthesized input from multiple divisions and diverse perspectives, highlighting options, impacts, and readiness considerations. - Provide concise executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations. - Maintain proactive, clear communication with all levels of the university to ensure shared understanding of timelines, deliverables, and decisions. Regulatory, Accreditation, & Non-Traditional Education Expertise - Apply, research, and rapidly learn unfamiliar regulatory or accreditation requirements as needed, ensuring accurate interpretation and integration into project plans - Ensure project plans incorporate federal regulations, accreditation standards, and governance requirements. - Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Financial Aid, Enrollment, Registrar, and Student Success to align compliance and operational requirements. - Translate regulatory and accreditation requirements into clear action steps for team leads and unit leaders. - Perform other duties, as assigned POSITION SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR LICENSES: - 5-7 years' experience in project management or strategic operations, with increasing responsibility, preferably in higher education. - Bachelor’s degree required. The hiring range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year. Analyze and resolve student issues associated with program requirements and course scheduling by interpreting and applying academic policies. - Acquire and demonstrate content knowledge regarding specific degree, credential, and certificate programs. - Pursue and demonstrate knowledge of the National Academic Advising Association’s competency-based model of academic advising. - Support student enrollment efforts through collaboration with university partner offices Retention Management - Monitor individual student progress and perform proactive advising outreach to discuss academic issues, program completion, and career goals to support retention while ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures. - Collaborate with the university community, including department meetings and departmental committees, to support students’ educational experience resulting in action plans leading to student persistence. - Prepare program summary analyses, evaluative reports, and recommendations to support retention initiatives. - Perform other duties, as assigned.
