This role is responsible for delivering measurable business outcomes within defined Finance processes by redesigning workflows and deploying AI-enabled solutions. This role blends Finance process knowledge with strong AI and data fluency. It includes direct engagement with the CFO on priority requests and deliverables and drives implementation of generative AI and agentic AI solutions using a human-in-the-loop approach to ensure control and auditability. This role will serve as a driver for implementing new AI and automation solutions within Finance, focused on turning identified opportunities into production-ready solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance decision-making. This is a hands-on execution role, acting as a single-threaded owner for selected Finance transformation areas. The role partners closely with Controllers, FP&A, IT, and Data teams, and serves as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation. Key Responsibilities 1. Own Delivery of Priority Finance AI Use Cases • Serve as single-threaded owner for defined Finance transformation areas (e.g., process automation, controls, close activities, or transaction workflows) • Accountable for delivering measurable outcomes, including moving initiatives from pilot to full production deployment • Provide support on CFO-priority requests and deliverables, as needed 2. Evaluate and Prioritize Opportunities • Partner with Finance process owners to evaluate and prioritize defined problem areas and automation opportunities • Assess opportunities based on: o scale and repeatability o data availability o feasibility and control considerations • Maintain a focused pipeline aligned with Finance priorities 3. Redesign End-to-End Finance Processes • Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities to eliminate manual effort and improve data flow • Redesign processes leveraging AI, automation, and digital tools • Focus on end-to-end improvements, not point solutions 4. Lead Execution from Concept to Production • Take solutions from concept and pilot through full production deployment • Execute proof-of-value pilots using real data and targeted scope • Apply a human-in-the-loop approach: AI performs first-pass analysis and automation, with Finance providing oversight, validation, and exception handling • Assess results and determine whether to scale solutions or discontinue low-impact initiatives • Standardize and scale successful solutions across Finance 5. Translate Business Needs into Solutions • Act as a bridge between Finance, IT, and Data teams • Convert defined business problems into actionable solution requirements • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to design and implement solutions 6. Ensure Controls, Compliance, and Audit Readiness • Embed SOX, audit, and data governance requirements into AI-enabled workflows • Partner with Controllers and Internal Audit to ensure compliance and auditability • Maintain clear documentation and process transparency 7.
