Role Description Hypercare is seeking a self-motivated, energetic people-person to join our growing team as a Sr. iOS Developer in the exciting and rewarding world of healthcare technology. This will be a multi-faceted role in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal candidate should be an ambitious individual looking for a dynamic experience and be willing to work alongside front end and backend developers, designers, and healthcare professionals. This opportunity will allow you to build on top of our enterprise grade application, have ownership over Hypercare's iOS platform, and aid in implementing and validating security controls. - Be strategic and tactical - have ownership over our iOS platform to ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness, while managing both immediate needs of the platform and ensuring its sustainable growth as we continue to build our product. - Add new features and enhance existing code to a production grade mobile application. - Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code. - Identify and correct bottlenecks and bug fixes. - Design, build, and maintain performant, reusable, and reliable code. - Work with backend developers on integration with APIs under active development. - Work with our product manager to meet specifications. - Set up and iterate on CI/CD pipeline. - Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code. - Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. - Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. - Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. Qualifications - Excited to work at a start-up! - Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience building product. - Published one or more iOS app in the App Store that has been used at scale (at least 30K+ monthly active users). - Experience in iOS (Swift) development. - Familiarity with various design patterns and iOS architectural design patterns. - Understands and has used code versioning tools. - Self-starter who can keep up-to-date with the latest updates and best practices in iOS development. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - A team player with the ability to work in a supportive team environment as well as independently. Requirements - Past experience as a Senior or Staff iOS Engineer. - Experience in quality assurance. - Experience with GraphQL to connect iOS application to backend services. - Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation. - Experience writing unit tests for mobile applications. - Work experience in health-tech industry.
