Job Description

Program Director, Information Technology – Epic Bridges

Geisinger

• Responsible for leadership and/or technical oversight of an assigned Information Technology (IT) segment within the organization • Creating and rolling out policies and procedures associated with assigned IT segment • Act as point of contact and full accountability for high degree of redundancy and reliability of assigned IT segment • Identifies best practices for service offerings of IT segment • Maintains in-depth knowledge of departmental workflows • Responsible for vendor management, including contract negotiations, invoice reconciliation, release updates, issues lists and new product evaluations • Reviews work of lower level personnel to ensure satisfaction of service offerings • Performs personnel review and evaluation function for salary administration, training and promotion • Prepares periodic budget and adherence for the department • Monitors compliance with Information Systems procedures and policies • Presents issues and concerns to IT leadership along with potential solutions when appropriate • Works with departmental and division management to develop and implement Information Technology strategies • Establish and monitor operational KPIs, including productivity standards • Develops and administers IT budget for responsible area • Practices fiscally sound budget management to ensure spending is held to allocated funds
