• Own product decisions for the squad’s current scope, with the authority and judgment to move work forward. • Prioritize and sequence the squad backlog week by week, balancing impact, feasibility, and dependencies. • Write clear user stories, success metrics, product briefs, and written specifications. • Work closely with Design, Engineering, Data, and other product peers to shape solutions and drive execution. • Coordinate cross-squad dependencies and ensure decisions are documented clearly. • Represent the squad in key operating rituals, including weekly demos, monthly readouts, and quarterly planning/strategy reviews. • Contribute to visibility on squad capabilities, product gaps, and execution risks. • Track product outcomes and continuously refine direction based on evidence, usage, and feedback.
