Trademark Docketing Specialist
Alt Legal - IP Management Software
• Provide docketing support for trademark prosecution and enforcement matters for matters being tracked in Alt Legal's software • Create and update docket records; generate custom docket and audit reports. • Collaborate with the team to develop and streamline workflow processes for efficiency. • Assist with onboarding new clients to ensure seamless transitions; work with clients as needed to understand their specific docketing requirements for tracking matters within Alt Legal's software.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a trademark docketing specialist/paralegal role.
- Extensive knowledge of USPTO procedures and TMEP.
- Extensive knowledge of WIPO procedures and docketing.
- Familiarity with foreign trademark prosecution, including filings under the Madrid Protocol and direct national filings.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to team members while remaining open to feedback.
