Role Description We’re looking for a National Accounts Inside Sales Representative - Construction to join our growing National Accounts team, supporting key customer portfolios and helping expand strategic relationships across the country in construction. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of national customers while ensuring an exceptional service experience at every touchpoint. You’ll collaborate closely with our Outside Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to deliver solutions that support customer needs and drive growth across our national programs. - Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within your assigned national account portfolio. - Build relationships by understanding customer needs, offering product recommendations, and ensuring timely and accurate order processing. - Provide technical support and product information using company tools and resources. - Prepare and respond to customer requests for quotes, pricing, and availability — gathering data from suppliers, order entry systems, and internal teams. - Review large or complex quotes with the Outside Sales team and Director of Marketing when thresholds are exceeded. - Coordinate with warehouse and logistics personnel to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery of customer orders. - Manage returns, credits, and supplier claims in accordance with company policy. - Conduct outbound sales calls using National Account “no sale” reports to generate additional business. - Maintain accurate customer and pricing records in CRM and ERP systems. - Partner with Credit/Collections teams to resolve customer account issues and ensure smooth billing and payment processes. Qualifications - Proven experience in inside sales or account management, preferably within industrial distribution, pool systems, or fluid handling industries. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - Detail-oriented with solid organizational and follow-up abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with CRM tools preferred. - A customer-first mindset — focused on responsiveness, accuracy, and partnership.
